Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 9, 2026
Your privacy matters. Here’s exactly what we collect, why, and what we do with it.

Who We Are

TrueSight Environmental is an independent environmental testing company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Our website is truesightenvironmental.com.

We’re a small operation—just Derrick Fredendall and the occasional crawlspace spider. We don’t have a marketing department analyzing your every click. We have better things to do, like finding mold.

What We Collect

When You Schedule an Inspection

  • Name — So we know who to ask for when we show up
  • Phone number — To confirm appointments and answer questions
  • Email address — To send your inspection report and receipt
  • Property address — Kind of important for an on-site inspection

When You Browse Our Website

  • Analytics data — Pages visited, time on site, general location (city-level, not your address)
  • Device information — Browser type, screen size (helps us make the site work on your device)

What We Don’t Collect

  • Credit card numbers (payments are processed by Stripe or Square—we never see your full card number)
  • Social Security numbers
  • Medical records
  • Anything we don’t actually need

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide services — Schedule your inspection, deliver your report, answer your questions
  • To communicate — Appointment confirmations, inspection results, follow-up if needed
  • To improve our website — Analytics help us understand which pages are helpful and which are confusing
  • To comply with law — If we’re legally required to share information (has never happened)

Who We Share Your Information With

Short answer: Almost no one.

Service Providers We Use

  • Calendly — Scheduling platform (receives your name, email, phone to book appointments)
  • Google Analytics — Website analytics (anonymized browsing data)
  • Stripe/Square — Payment processing (they handle your card info, not us)
  • Cloudflare — Website security and performance (sees traffic patterns)

Who We Never Share With

  • Remediation companies (we don’t sell leads—that would be a conflict of interest)
  • Marketing companies or data brokers
  • Anyone who asks nicely but doesn’t have a legal right to know

Cookies

We use cookies. Not the delicious kind—the small text files kind.

  • Essential cookies — Make the website work (forms, scheduling)
  • Analytics cookies — Help us understand how people use the site

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but we won’t know if anyone’s reading this privacy policy. (Honestly, if you’ve made it this far, we’re impressed.)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — Ask what information we have about you
  • Correction — Fix any inaccurate information
  • Deletion — Request we delete your data (with some exceptions for legal/business records)
  • Opt out — Unsubscribe from any emails (there’s always a link at the bottom)

To exercise any of these rights, email dfredendall@truesightenvironmental.com or call 580-819-2071. We’ll respond within 30 days.

How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Inspection reports — 7 years (standard business practice, useful if you need a copy later)
  • Contact information — Until you ask us to delete it
  • Payment records — 7 years (required for tax purposes)
  • Website analytics — 26 months (Google Analytics default)

Security

We protect your data with:

  • SSL encryption (the padlock in your browser)
  • Secure hosting with Cloudflare protection
  • Limited access (only Derrick has access to client data)
  • Strong passwords (better than “password123”)

No system is 100% secure. If we ever experience a data breach, we’ll notify affected parties within 72 hours as required by law.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we’ve accidentally collected data from a child, contact us and we’ll delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we may also email you (if you’ve provided an email address). We won’t send you a 47-page legal memo—we’ll tell you what changed in plain English.
